Grade 2 specification - identified by 2 lugs and 1.17 mm thickness

To choose the gasket grade you require, just look at the number of identification lugs on the cylinder head gasket currently on your engine. The lugs stand out proud of the joint between cylinder block and head.
To aid identification the gaskets are supplied with lugs as follows:
• Grade 2 head gasket: 2 lugs, 1.17 mm thick
• Grade 3 head gasket: 3 lugs, 1.22 mm thick
• Grade 4 head gasket: 4 lugs, 1.27 mm thick
• Grade 5 head gasket: 5 lugs, 1.32 mm thick.
