Original float needle valves consisted of a plastic body with brass tip and steel needle.
This improved version with Viton sealing cone and a brass valve guide is more reliable. Viton is very resistant to petrol and forms a particularly good seal because it is elastic.
The Viton valve tip is reliably pressed into its seat by a spring-loaded pin.
