Universal joint instead of flexible hardy coupling
Both systems have their authorization. If a Hardy coupling provides more steering comfort, the universal joint provides a more direct response to the steering movement and gives the driver a better feeling for the road. This is an important aspect in competitive use.
This conversion consists of the lower steering column with an universal joint at the bottom and an universal joint at the top. The upper joint is clamped with the teeth of the existing upper steering column.
