With the Michelin XWX in the seventies, the only radial tyre that is also suitable for the fastest cars in the world was launched! It gives the cars exceptional road holding and excellent grip. These tyres were used by racing professionals, especially when speeds of up to 300 km/h were required!
Completely new were the tyre structure and the flexible carcass. With the speedindex VR, the XWX is approved for speeds above 210 km/h.
