rear shock absorber - feature: 11.1 mm internal diameter
This is the bush in the end of the rear damper lever arm of all models from chassis no. SFE367 (Silver Cloud I) and from B56FA (Bentley S1). The internal diameter is 11.1 mm. Originally the early Series 1 models were fitted with a thicker bolt and and a bush with an internal diameter of 12.7 mm. This bush was modified by making it thicker and the bolt thinner.
As replacement dampers are usually supplied with a new bush it may be that the damper on your car has a bush which does not tally with your chassis no.
