The pedal clamp saves the second man when the accelerator or brake pedal has to be pressed.
This brake and accelerator jack is designed to use the front seat of the car to obtain leverage. Place the pointed end of the jack on the pedal and use the small release lever above the spring to free the trigger mechanism in order to place the jack in place against the seat.
Then press the trigger mechanism to put pressure on the brake or accelerator pedal.
The pedal jack will maintain the pressure until the release lever is pressed.
When using the pedal jack on the acceleraror pedal, extend it a small amount at a time to prevent the engine from racing.
Cars with power brakes should have the engine idling when using the jack on the brake pedal.
