Nowadays, almost all inner tubes have valves with a diameter of 13 mm, so-called TR13 tyre valves.
Some older original wheels still have holes for 15 mm (TR15) valves. In this case, you need the tyre valve adaptor 552958 to be able to fit the inner tube with the smaller valve.
