The drain plug is set on the side of the sump pan which reduces the risk of damage. A connection for an oil temperature sensor is also fitted.
Please note: To use this sump on a XK engine, teh enclosed lip seal conversion kit must be fitted instead of the rear crank rope seal. Also the oil pick-up pipe must be changed by the customer and the bore on the RH side of the oil sump must be closed, as the oil return pipe runs inside the sump.
