Drive shafts for Triumph

This drive shaft with homokinetic joints replaces the original drive shaft with universal joints. The construction with universal joints is actually completely unsuitable for the transmission angles that occur. Even the very best universal joint can only tolerate very small transmission angles. The construction used on the Triumph models TR4A IRS, TR5, TR250, TR6 and Stag means that the universal joint and the sliding piece are constantly completely overloaded and therefore tend to fail. Modern power transmission by homokinetic joints was only in its infancy at the time of the appearance of these TR models, due to the increasing use of front-wheel drives. Limora has developed a completely maintenance-free, reliable drivetrain using the latest mass-produced components. Detailed installation instructions are enclosed.
